Directional, not just nearest-neighbour
A good sequence is directional. On an arrival run, you want closest-first — get people off the vehicle as you move outward. On a departure run, furthest-first — pick up the far guests early so the vehicle fills as it heads toward the airport. Distance alone isn't enough; direction is what makes the order feel obvious to the driver.
The guard that earns the trust
The feature that turns a clever sequence into a trusted one is the opposite-direction guard.
